Three SANY filters cover the systems that decide how cleanly a diesel crane runs: the diesel water separator, the engine oil filter and the urea pump filter. They are small entries on a long heavy equipment spare parts list, and between them they look after the fuel going into the engine, the oil circulating inside it, and the diesel exhaust fluid that cleans up what comes out of the stack.
The grouping is practical rather than theoretical. Fleet workshops servicing several SANY crawler cranes book all three at once, so one delivery covers a full round of scheduled maintenance. Repair shops keep a few of each on the shelf, because the water separator and oil filter move steadily while the urea element is the one nobody has when a dosing fault appears. Contractors send in the machine model and let our crane spare parts desk match the SANY filter reference.
Nothing here is a modification or an upgrade. Every piece is a service replacement inside the SANY crane parts range, matched to the number printed on the unit that comes off, and the same number is repeated on the box label a fitter checks before opening the packaging.
Most of these elements go onto construction machinery spare parts that see the dustiest work: machines in yards, quarries and coastal sites. Fuel arrives with water in it, oil loads with soot well before the change interval is up, and the urea tank is rarely full, so the three elements seldom reach the end of their life at the same moment. Buying them together is about convenience and freight, not about a matched kit.

The water separator and the oil filter are spin-on canisters. Each has a flat mounting face with a central threaded opening, a ring of inlet holes drilled through the top plate, and a perimeter gasket that seals against the filter head. The gasket does the sealing, the thread centres the element and the flat face makes the canister seat squarely every time it is spun on — which is why the fitting instruction is hand-tight only.
Tabs around the rim of the housing locate the canister on the head, so it can only go on one way. The body carries the SANY filter reference on a printed label that has to survive the diesel and oil it will be handled in.
The urea element is a pleated cartridge rather than a canister. The pleats are capped at both ends so they hold their spacing through the pressure pulses of the dosing pump, and the whole cartridge lifts out of its housing in one piece: no bowl to drain and no internal spring to reseat. Its printed box repeats the reference in more than one place, which matters when the label on the element itself has been soaked.
Both styles are built as sealed, non-serviceable units. There is no element to wash out and refit, because a cleaned filter medium loses the depth of material that makes it work. At the end of the interval the only correct action is replacement.

Not sure which part fits your machine? Send the part number, the machine model, and a photo of the nameplate or the worn item, and our engineers — each with more than ten years in the construction machinery business — will confirm the correct reference and quote it. We advise on installation, help trace faults, and answer technical questions before and after dispatch. Since 2017 we have built this support on a supplier network covering FUWA, SANY, XCMG and ZOOMLION, so older and hard-to-find references can usually still be sourced.

Yes. Send the machine model and serial number together with a photo of the old element and the label on it, and we will match it against the SANY filters we hold. A nameplate photo or the number cast on the filter head is usually enough when the label has worn away. If the reference has been superseded, we will tell you which number replaces it before you commit to the order.
The water separator sits on the fuel line with a bowl or drain beneath it, the oil filter is threaded onto the engine block, and the urea filter is a cartridge inside the dosing module on the SCR side of the machine. Element style is the quickest guide: the water separator and oil filter are spin-on canisters you turn by hand, while the urea element is a pleated cartridge that lifts out once the housing is opened.
Yes. The perimeter gasket is fitted to the canister, so a new element brings its own seal and there is no separate O-ring to order. Before the new element goes on, check that the old gasket lifted away with the old canister — a gasket left behind on the head is the usual cause of a leak after a filter change.
The three numbers on this product are SANY references, so they are the right starting point for SANY diesel cranes and rigs. Some FUWA and ZOOMLION machines run the same engine and filter head, but the engine family alone is not enough to go on: give us the model and the number on the old element and we will confirm whether the same element is used, which is the check any careful crane parts suppliers' desk would insist on before dispatch.
The water separator and oil filter are hand-tool jobs on a cold engine: drain, spin off, wipe the face, oil the gasket and hand-tighten. The urea cartridge is also a straightforward swap, but it sits in a pressurised dosing circuit, so relieve pressure exactly as the machine manual describes and never open the housing with the ignition on. If the pump has already logged a fault, fit the element first and clear the code afterwards.
