An engine that breathes dirty air wears out quietly. On a crane working in dust, the air filter decides how much grit reaches the cylinders, and it is the cheapest part in that chain to change. This is the original ZOOMLION air filter element for the job: supplied in the printed ZOOMLION carton, with the product number and plant number marked on the box so a workshop can check the reference before the box is even opened.
Fitting is a straight swap. The old element comes out of the intake housing, the new one goes in, and the sealing ring does the rest. That is why this is a routine line for us — fleets order it at service time, repair workshops add it to a construction machinery spare parts order when a machine is in for other work, and parts counters keep one on the shelf so a crane is not parked waiting for a filter.
The value of the original part is fit rather than badge. The end caps, the centre bore and the sealing ring are made to ZOOMLION dimensions, so the element seats against the housing face without the gaps that let unfiltered air slip past the seal and into the engine.
We work as crane parts suppliers to fleets, workshops and parts traders running FUWA, SANY, XCMG and ZOOMLION machines. Filters are one line in a broad crane spare parts range: the same shelves carry structural parts, undercarriage, hydraulic crane parts and engine parts, and every order is checked against the machine rather than against a description.

A crane carries more than one filter, and the engine air element is only the first of them. We supply original filters from SANY, XCMG, ZOOMLION and FUWA, so a mixed fleet can be covered in a single order instead of being split across four crane parts suppliers.
On the hydraulic side, the suction strainer sits at the tank outlet and stops debris reaching the pump before the oil has passed through anything else. The return line filter catches the wear particles the system makes in normal service; a crane hydraulic return filter that has run past its interval will go into bypass, and from then on the oil circulates dirty. FUWA hydraulic suction strainers and SANY hydraulic strainers are both regular lines here.
The two ends of the circuit fail differently, which is worth knowing when you are ordering. A blocked suction strainer starves the pump and shows up as noise and heat; a loaded return filter shows up as rising oil temperature and slower functions. If a strainer has been left in long enough to damage the pump, a hydraulic crane part such as the pump or motor can be quoted in the same reply.
Numbers change between series. A filter listed for an older machine may have been superseded, and we will tell you the current reference rather than ship a substitute quietly. Crawler crane parts books change between series too, and the same is true of a crane load indicator, so the machine model goes on the order as well as the reference.
Because the same shelves serve construction machinery spare parts buyers well beyond cranes — drilling rigs, excavators and concrete equipment among them — a filter number that has gone obsolete for one machine is often still current for another.

Not sure which part fits your machine? Send the part number, the machine model, and a photo of the nameplate or the worn item, and our engineers — each with more than ten years in the construction machinery business — will confirm the correct reference and quote it. We advise on installation, help trace faults, and answer technical questions before and after dispatch. Since 2017 we have built this support on a supplier network covering FUWA, SANY, XCMG and ZOOMLION, so older and hard-to-find references can usually still be sourced.
It is the original ZOOMLION air filter element, supplied in the ZOOMLION printed carton with the product number and plant number on the box. The end caps, centre bore and sealing ring follow the ZOOMLION dimensions, so it seats the way the element you are replacing did — no adaptor, no trimming, no second gasket.
Only if that machine lists the same reference. Fit is decided by the part number or by the three dimensions of the element, not by the crane looking similar. Send the number from the second machine's parts book, or the height, outside diameter and bore of the element inside it, and we will tell you whether one element covers both. Crawler crane parts books change between series, so check each machine rather than assuming.
Light surface dust can be blown out with low-pressure air from the clean side, working along the pleats rather than across them. Do not wash a pleated paper crane air filter in water or solvent, and do not tap it against the ground — both drive dust into the media and damage the pleat walls. If the paper is torn, oil-soaked or the sealing ring is deformed, replace it.
At the interval set in your machine's service schedule, and earlier when the crane works in heavy dust, demolition or dry bulk handling. Watch the intake restriction indicator if the housing has one, and watch for loss of power under load or a new whistle at the intake — any of those means the element is loaded and the engine is short of air.
Yes. Every element is new stock from ZOOMLION — never fitted to a machine, never cleaned or washed, and never re-boxed from a returned part. The pleats and the rubber sealing ring are as they left the line, and the media is untouched the first time the carton is opened. The printed carton carries the product number and plant number, so the quickest check on arrival is to hold the box against the number on the old element before anything is unwrapped. Keep the element in its wrapping until you are at the intake housing; a filter left loose on a bench collects grit on the very face that has to seal. If a carton turns up crushed, or the sealing ring shows a crease or a mark, photograph it and set the part aside instead of fitting it — that ring is the one surface that has to be perfect. For stock kept on a shelf, store it flat in the carton, away from damp and heavy items, and fit the oldest one first.
