Mobile Crane Parts Pedal Assy for ZOOMLION QY70V/QY100V Accelerator Pedal

Mobile Crane Parts Podal Assy for ZOOMLION QY70V/QY100V
Description

Product Overview

On a QY-series crane the accelerator pedal is the direct link between the operator's right foot and engine speed. Every travel move starts there, and so does every lift, because the pedal is what brings the engine up to working revs. This assembly replaces the complete pedal unit on ZOOMLION QY70V and QY100V cranes: the arm and pad, the mounting base that bolts down to the cab floor, the coiled return spring and the wiring lead that carries the throttle signal back to the engine wiring. It arrives as one piece, so nobody has to salvage a spring or splice a lead from the old pedal to make the new one work.

The build is steel with a matte black finish, and the bracket carries a ZOOMLION label. There is also a warning on the unit against loosening the adjustment, and it is worth reading before fitting: the pedal geometry is set when the unit is built and should stay as it is. What you are buying is a part that goes back into the same position, at the same height, under the same foot.

Because the assembly is mechanical and electrical rather than hydraulic, fitting one is a job for a workshop with hand tools — no bench test, no pressure check, no oil. That is a contrast worth noting against the hydraulic crane parts sitting behind the same cab, which usually need a bench and a pressure gauge before anyone knows whether they are good. A pedal has to be right the first time instead, because the crane is normally standing while the part is in transit.

Fleets that keep a small stock of construction machinery spare parts for their most-used models treat a pedal as an inexpensive item to hold on the shelf. It takes one breakdown at the start of a season to understand why.

Fitment & Model Coverage

  • ZOOMLION QY70V. The bracket bolts down over the existing floor mounting points and the pedal arm sits at the height the operator is used to, so the feel of the throttle does not change after the swap.
  • ZOOMLION QY100V. The same unit serves the QY100V, which shares the cab control layout with the QY70V. If the cab has been through a refurbishment, check the floor plate and the panel cut-out before ordering.
  • What fitment actually covers. Three things have to line up: the bolt holes in the floor, the length and angle of the pedal arm, and the plug on the wiring lead. The first two decide whether it mounts, the third decides whether the throttle signal reaches the machine wiring.
  • A part that lives in the footwell. The pedal is one of the crane electrical components that takes the most punishment, because grit, dust and constant boot pressure all work on the same pivot. A dash-mounted switch has an easier life.
  • Other QY models. The QY25, QY50, QY80 and the larger QY cranes use their own pedal arrangements. Do not assume this unit drops into another model; send the machine details and the old pedal photographs and it can be checked properly.
  • Fleet stocking. Where several QY70V or QY100V cranes work from one yard, a spare pedal turns a two-week wait into a one-hour repair, which is the usual reason buyers hold a little stock of mobile crane parts for their busiest models.

Installation & Adjustment

  1. Park the crane on level ground, lower the attachment, stop the engine and disconnect the battery ground before touching any wiring, which keeps the crane load indicator and the rest of the cab electronics isolated for the whole swap.
  2. Lift the cab floor mat, remove the access panel or plate over the pedal, then photograph the old unit, its plug and the spring position before anything comes apart.
  3. Unbolt the bracket from the floor, release the wiring connector and lift the old assembly out. Keep the bolts; they are often the only ones that pull down flat on a worn floor plate.
  4. Set the new assembly in position and fit the bolts finger-tight first, so the base can still shift a little if the holes do not line up straight away.
  5. Check that the pedal arm clears the floor cut-out through its full travel before anything is tightened down.
  6. Reconnect the wiring lead until the plug latches, then refit the access panel. A half-seated plug shows up later as an intermittent throttle, and it is one of the most frequent faults on crane electrical components in the footwell.
  7. Confirm the return spring pulls the pedal back to its stop and that nothing traps the lead or the spring. Leave the factory adjustment alone — the label on the unit warns against loosening it.
  8. Start the engine and work the pedal through its range at low idle, then check it again after the first shift, once the new bracket has settled.

Confirming the Correct Unit

  • Machine model and serial. Read both from the plate in the cab rather than from memory; the serial narrows down production changes that happened inside a model year.
  • Three photographs of the old pedal. Straight on, from the side, and from underneath where the bracket meets the floor. Add a close-up of the connector and of any label or moulded number.
  • Mounting hole spacing. Measure centre to centre across the bolt holes and write the figure down. A photo with a tape measure in frame saves an exchange of emails.
  • Pad size and arm height. Length and width of the pedal pad, and the height from the floor plate to the pad surface.
  • Connector and wiring. The shape of the plug, how many pins it has, and the colours of the wires going into it. If the lead has been spliced in the past, photograph the splice as well.
  • Spring anchor point. Where the return spring hooks onto the bracket. It varies between pedal designs and is the detail most often left out.
  • What a wrong unit looks like. The pedal bottoms out on the floor before the engine reaches full speed, the arm fouls the access panel, or the plug will not latch. Any of those means the part is wrong for the machine, not that it needs adjusting.
  • Send it in one message. Model, serial, photographs and measurements together let the whole crane spare parts enquiry be checked in one pass instead of three.

Related Cab Controls & Electrical Parts

  • Electrical joystick and handles. The lever the operator uses for crane motions takes as much use as the pedal. If it has gone slack, sticky or lost a button, replace it in the same session so the cab is opened once.
  • Controllers. Rexroth-type controllers and the electronic units behind the cab wiring. A failed controller usually shows up as one unresponsive function rather than a dead machine.
  • Monitors and displays. The screen showing load, radius and boom data. A dim or flickering display is often a cable or connector fault rather than the screen itself.
  • Length and angle sensors. The boom sensors that feed the load system. Where a fault follows the boom angle, they are worth changing as a matched pair rather than one at a time.
  • Load cells and crane load indicator parts. The measuring chain behind the load moment system, including load cells and the indicator components that go with them.
  • Cables and switches. Loom, coiled cables, limit switches and push buttons — small crane electrical components that account for most intermittent electrical faults.
  • Wider fleet coverage. We also hold undercarriage and crawler crane parts such as track shoes, rollers and sprockets, plus hydraulic crane parts including pumps, motors and valves, so a single order of construction machinery spare parts can cover several machines.

About ZOOMLION

ZOOMLION — Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd. — was founded in 1992 and has grown into one of the largest construction machinery groups in China. It develops and manufactures high-tech equipment for the engineering and agricultural industries, and now covers 10 major categories, 56 product lines and close to 600 leading products. It was the first Chinese construction machinery company to be listed on both the Shenzhen and Hong Kong stock exchanges, with registered capital of RMB 7.664 billion, and it is currently pushing a strategic transformation toward high-end equipment manufacturing that brings engineering machinery, agricultural machinery and financial services together.

For anyone running a QY crane, the practical point is the size of the support base behind the model. A group of that scale keeps a parts and service structure around its machines, and the QY70V and QY100V are long-established models with a great many of them still working on sites.

Working as crane parts suppliers to ZOOMLION fleets for close to ten years, we have built a market that covers more than 20 countries, with after-sales stations in many of them. Crawler crane parts, undercarriage and cab controls all move through the same warehouse, so a replacement pedal and a set of track shoes can leave on one shipment when that is what the job needs.

Technical Support & Model Matching

Not sure which part matches your machine? Send us the model, serial number and the original part number — or a photo and key dimensions — and our engineers will confirm the correct item and check availability before you commit. They have spent more than ten years in construction machinery and can talk you through fault-finding, installation and commissioning by phone, email or video. We also trace parts for discontinued and legacy models. Support runs 24/7 from Shenyang, China, where we have been supplying buyers since 2017.

FAQ

Which ZOOMLION cranes will this accelerator pedal assembly fit?

It is built for the QY70V and the QY100V. Both use the same pedal position and floor mounting footprint in the cab, so the unit goes straight in. Other QY models use their own pedal arrangements, so if your machine is a QY25, QY50 or a larger QY, send the model and a photograph of the old pedal before ordering — the same rule applies to any mobile crane parts being matched to a model that is not listed here.

What does the assembly include?

A complete pedal unit: the arm and pad, the base bracket that fastens to the cab floor, the coiled return spring, and the wiring lead with its plug. You swap the whole unit rather than rebuilding the old pedal, which is what most workshops prefer when a machine is standing.

Is this a new ZOOMLION part or a reconditioned one?

It is new, and it carries a ZOOMLION label. We do not supply reconditioned pedals. If you are comparing crane parts suppliers on this point, ask for photographs of the actual unit in stock — the label, the spring and the lead will all be visible before you commit.

Does anything need adjusting once the pedal is fitted?

The pedal geometry is set when the unit is built, and the assembly carries a warning against loosening the adjustment. Fit it, check that the arm clears the floor panel through its full travel, and confirm the return spring brings the pedal back to the stop. If it will not reach full travel, the usual cause is the mounting position or a trapped lead, not the setting itself.

I only know the machine model and have no part number — can you still match it?

Yes, that is how a lot of these orders begin. Send the model and serial from the cab plate, three photographs of the old pedal, the bolt-hole spacing, and a close-up of the plug. In most cases that is enough to identify the right crane spare parts item without a number at all.

Will the pedal stand up to constant foot pressure?

The pedal and bracket are steel, finished in matte black, with a coiled steel spring for the return. Steel is the right material in this position because it holds its shape under a boot pressing on it all day and does not develop the flex a plastic pedal shows after a season. The parts that wear first are the pivot and the spring, which is why the assembly is sold complete rather than as a pad on its own.

Do you also supply the joystick, monitor and other cab electrics?

Yes. Joysticks and handles, controllers, monitors and displays, length and angle sensors, load cells and crane load indicator components, cables and switches all come through the same channel. Ordering the cab electrical components together means one shipment and one set of paperwork instead of two.

Can other ZOOMLION parts be added to the same order?

They can. Alongside cab controls we supply undercarriage and crawler crane parts, and hydraulic crane parts such as pumps, motors and valves for the same machines. Send the list with your models and the stock position on each item can be confirmed before the order is placed.
